Christie brings nearly a decade of event experience to R.S.V.P.  Christie graduated from The Ohio State University where she majored in Political Science and Human Resources.  While at Ohio State, Christie gained valuable event planning knowledge and experience through involvement with the Undergraduate Student Government, Alpha Delta Pi sorority and the Homecoming Committee.  After graduating in 2002, Christie began her event planning career in the association management industry, where she planned numerous events for various state and local non-profit associations ranging from 5 to 500 attendees.  During this time, Christie completed her master's degree in Human Resource Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management.  In 2005, Christie shifted her career focus to human resources and customer service, all the while planning events and working as a freelance wedding coordinator.  Christie founded R.S.V.P. Weddings & Events in 2009 after identifying a need in Central Ohio for an experienced event planning company dedicated to serving the needs of budget-minded clients. 

 

Christie is a member of the Columbus Bridal Consultants, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio (HRACO).   

 

Christie is an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes - Go Bucks!  She enjoys reading, working out and taking care of her family.
